Portrait of Hong Kong contains 153 street photographs all of which were selected from 500 handpicked negatives by Fan Ho prior to his passing in 2016. These images provide not only glimpses of Hong Kong in the 1950s and 1960s but also recall the indomitable spirit of the people at the time. The book also collected 20 quotable excerpts from Thoughts on Street Photography, the earliest published book by Fan Ho, regarding his viewpoints on street photography.
