Fan Ho's first solo exhibition was in year 1957 at the age of 26 at the Cecil Art Gallery on Ice House Street. More than 100 prints of old Hong Kong street scenes, seascapes, people and portraits where showcased in a 4 day exhibition.

Fan Ho's one and only Rollei Flex
Fan Ho was certainly not a gadget freak. The only camera he ever owned was a twin lens Rollei Flex he purchased when he arrived in Hong Kong in 1949. All his award winning photographs were taken with this one camera. The camera still exists today and is safe guarded by his family.
